Heidi Goes to Washington

Receiving William B. Wilson award

L-R: Richard Stickler, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Mine Safety and Health; David A. Jones, great grandson; Robert A. Wilson, great grandson; Cecil Roberts, President, United Mine Workers of America; Elaine L. Chao, Secretary of Labor; me; Raymond Keith Lindie, Blossburg historian.

I went to Washington, D.C. Nov. 12 for my family to receive the award for William B. Wilson's induction into the U.S. Department of Labor Hall of Fame. We had a very nice dinner at Georgia Brown's.
